FOGS

We have a very active and supportive School Association which works hard to raise money for the school through a wide range of different social events. Recent events organised by FOGS have been ‘The Welcome Gig’ – a parents band and a staff-based band performing as part of our general welcome to new parents and families every September time – an annual quiz, a beetle drive and a spring fair, besides being closely involved in helping out with parties and discos. All members of the school community are welcome to join in with the events or stand for election to the committee.

If you would like to join the committee or go on the FOGS email list please speak to any of the committee members or FOGS helpers or email committee@fogs.org.uk.

Autumn Fair 2016
The Autumn Fair took place on Thursday 13th October. There was a little chill in the air and Pumpkin Soup was much appreciated! Lots of the children arranged stalls themselves including conker throw, dip your hand in a gooey pumpkin to find a marble and pumpkin roll. Thank you to all of the children who ran stalls and everybody who attended. The children’s stalls raised £170 and the cake stall raised £204!

February 2015
The FOGS Curry and Quiz Night raised a breath-taking £1,193.80. On behalf of all of the school community I’d like to say thank you to the organisers, the curry makers and those who worked very hard on the night looking after everyone. Of course, a very big thank you to those of you who were able to take part and made it such an enjoyable event. Due to the efforts of FOGS over the past year or so, we are now able to purchase stage lighting for the school hall which will enhance all future performances by the children. Thank you.
