Silver PE Award

We are delighted to announce that Grundisburgh Primary School has been awarded the Silver School Games Mark for the second year in a row!

We feel this reflects the improvements we have made to PE and the significant increase in pupil participation in extra-curricular sports clubs we have on offer.

KS1 sporting clubs have seen an increase in participation, 70% of children in KS1 now take part in a sporting club. KS2 have seen an
increase of 45% which is fantastic. In the academic year of 2015-2016 75% of KS2 children attended at least one of the sporting clubs we have on offer and currently 76 % of our KS2 children in the academic year 2016-17 attend a sporting club but this will hopefully rise even further as we implement further clubs throughout the year.

Well done to all of the children for working so hard on their PE and achieving the Silver Award! We are aiming for gold next year!
