School day timings

Please see communication from Mrs Marks regarding staggered start / drop off times to be used during COVID-19 outbreak. Children will also be receiving staggered break times and lunchtimes through the day to allow for social distancing between groups. Please follow timings communicated via email in July 2020 until advised otherwise. Thank you.

Below are the school's usual timings (these are not the timings we are following during the COVID-19 outbreak and from September 2020. If you are at all unsure of the school's timings and missed any communication from Mrs Marks in July, please telephone or email the school office).

The school day begins at 8.55am and finishes at 3.25 pm.

  • Lunch time 12.10pm - 1.10pm.

  • Play times 10.40am - 10.55pm & 2.30pm - 2.45pm (except Friday where afternoon play is 2:40 - 2:55pm followed by Golden Time which runs until 3:15pm)
Assemblies: 10.25am - 10.40am except Friday where assembly begins at 9:10am.

Most assemblies are whole school – we occasionally have a separate KS1 assembly and KS2 assembly.

Sometimes assemblies will start earlier, for instance when we have local clergy in to lead the assembly or when 'Open The Book' Assemblies take place with members of the local clergy performing stories from the Bible.

Our Friday assembly is our Celebration Assembly which starts at 9.10am – this is when a class of children share their work with the rest of the school and their parents.

Lessons therefore mostly take place from 9.00am – 10.25am, 10.55am – 12.10pm, 1.10pm – 2.30pm and 2.45pm – 3.25pm
